Powder Mills Park Fish Hatchery - Pittsford, NY

We stoped into see the Trout at Powder Mills Park today.
They have Brown Trout, Stealhead, Brook Trout and even a few Rainows from time to time.
My wife and son allways get a big kick out of feeding these amazing fish.
There are 25cent machines to vend fish chow.

The Fish Hatchery is located at 115 Park Road inside Powder Mills Park.
Powder Mills Park is located in the southernmost portion of Monroe County.
Enter the park from Route 96, south of Bushnell's Basin near Interstate 490.

Nice weekend road trip

I was born & raised in Rochester (Brighton & Gates) and have been to Powder Mill many times. Always wanted to take my pole to the hatchery. Brings back some good ole memories. Moved to NC 42 years ago. Don't miss the winters one bit. No "lake effect" snow here!
