This fish was sooooo big...
THIS FISH WAS SOOOOO BIG...it literally tipped over a boat. I was shore fishing winter stocked rainbow trout on a desert floor lake out in Tucson. Spinning gear, light line and trout magnet bait on the bottom. Something BIG picked up the bait, I gave it a few seconds, closed the bail and reared back to set the hook. This thing took off like a freight train. There was a dam wall nearby maybe 15 feet high so I walked up there to get a better vantage point above the fish. Suddenly I notice a young lady coming near my line with her small sail boat. As I was screaming at her to turn the sailboat mast ran into my line and the sail boat flipped over like a 20 foot wave hit it. She surfaced screaming at me as if it were my fault. A good 5 minutes later I landed the fish, a carp around 8lbs. So now I brag about a fish I once caught that was SOOOO BIG it flipped a boat over.:Rofl
