The Texas Toast chenille is too dark. I'm getting some Goldstone that outta look better.

I know where you can get some plastics like that:popcorn the jig is awesome I do like to head colors.

Pepop I did mine with the copper sparkle chenille. It seems to be a better spring color than a fall color over here on Caddo. I added a bit of Flo. chartreuse barred Mallard flank to the tail along with some really long red flash.

Vern maybe just ginger with red crystal would do the trick to my eye anyway. Yes the Texas to as is too dark for that, but he jig still looks good.

Looks fine I am sure, but if you want to try and get close to that plastic, your gonna have to use more of a pumpkin color for that head, something much lighter IMHO. Maybe even something you have would be closer the Trans copper with a touch of red glitter. I wouldn't worry about the other colors of glitter as they probably don't matter near as much.
