Garage Sale Finds
I have long been a junk collector and bargain hunter, and I hit the Garage Sales nearly
every weekend. Here are some items I found for jig tying -
Purchased 4 boxes of this material from Japan... I think it is meant for crochet, but I saw it
as possible body material for smaller jigs. It is on cards like chenille -

Got these 4 boxes plus some other stuff for $2.00 -
Then, at a different sale, I found these rolls of Mylar ribbon...
It is semi-transparent, and I split it in half lengthwise on the diagonal
for tail accents.

Got 4 colors... Blue, Yellow, Green and Purple in 1,000 yard spools for 25-cents each.

garage sales are good place to find a lot of stuff you will be surprised on what materials that you confine especially sometimes you run across all lot of yarn I don't see too many people using it on here but it is a good tying material you will also find a lot of on feathers which are sometimes a good deal especially if you find a furthers song together in a rope also all kinds of different vinyl materials threads you will find all of this and garage sales.

I have some of that weaves good on 1/80th
