Horse back would be faster.

Monday I ordered something from Bass Pro. On tuesday I placed another order. I ordered separately because the monday order could get free shipping and the tuesday order needed extra for shipping because of weight. The monday order arrived at Fed Ex in Earth City on wednesday evening. It is scheduled to be delivered on monday. Earth city is only around 70 miles from us. Horse back would have been much faster. The tuesday order was in Kansas City thursday and is suppose to be delivered today(friday). Kansas City is 4 hours from us. Amazing how an pkg. from across the state can get here faster than 1 from 70 miles away. It seems like if it goes through Earth city it always takes days longer to get to us. Like I said horse back would have been faster.

They do have issues! I ordered a 10 HP motor on the Monday before Thanksgiving, I tell them UPS, nope got to be FedEx home delivery. Ok I am leaving Wed night and will not be back till Sunday night. So I tell the shipper that if it will not be here by Wed to hold it and ship it on Wed with the holiday I figured it would not be here till Monday anyway. So I return home on Sunday and here is a slip on the door, tried to deliver on Saturday. Ok I had heard they don't work on Monday, I have things to do on Monday, so I look on their website and can find nothing on delivery days? So I call them and the person on the phone says they do not deliver on Monday. Ok I jump in the shower and am going to leave. While in the shower the doorbell rings. It is Fed Ex home delivery. I go to door and question him being there, since I just got off the phone with them, and he says we only work on Mondays between Thanksgiving and Christmas? They seem to have issues every time I get something from them. I like brown much better and request them when I have a choice!

I work for brown and deliver to the warehouse. It is nice to hear good things about our service- we try hard to outdo the competition. I don't think you will see us delivering their product, because FedEx bids at a loss for their business. As in most things in life, you get what you pay for. I can tell you a package going from Springfield to almost any town in Missouri will be delivered the next day with us.
