Spyder lok rod holder review
I just purchased a set of these and had the opportunity to fish them. These holders are the cats meow! I am not affiliated with them at all and will give an unbiased review.
First a pix of them

Next as you can see these holders are very beefy in nature and nothing was skimped on for materials. They resemble the tight loks but their mechanism of movement is very different and a whole lot easier to adjust. The pedestal is secured to the floor via a base plate and two screw knobs. Yep no wrenches or tools needed.

The pedestal is also fully height adjustable unlike others which are fixed.
Attachment 138505
Each rod holder also has a knob for height and side-to-side adjustment and is secured in place via a grooved turret. They hold very secure in place and won't rotate out of your perfect spacing of your rods.
Attachment 138506
Each holder also has plenty of room to allow for your hand to pick up the rod without hitting your knuckles. The cross bar also has a grooved turret with a knob which allows for you to turn the set of four holders to the side for cranking or at an angle for pushing.

If you are in the market for a rod holder that is very flexible allowing you to push, side pull, or crank bait with I would highly recommend looking at these.
