Gray is hard to beat for my home lake in spring so I though I would try my hand at tying a roadrunner.

Looks pretty good! Does the blade turn? I just see paint on that swivel bottom so wondering if it still works. I am pretty sure that is a 1/16 oz and I would really recommend a 1/32 for spring. Just my 2 cents.
nice-looking roadrunner.
Thanks all. Skip I will try a few. My home lake is very clear and in spring you can see bottom 8-12ft deep at times so staying back as far as possible and making long casts really helps.
They are factory heads and they all work but I did notice the paint also.
Oh okay I understand the factory heads and paint. Hey you want more distance on cast maybe use a 1/32 under a bobber? I know that 1/16 Oz Original head really weighs more than 1/16th though.
I wondered how much they weigh as they look bigger than ones I've seen poored
The weight on these is closer to 1/8 oz, I do not know why. Their other heads like the Marabou2 1/16 are better, but have a collar which I do not car for other than If I tie a thread neck.
