Is this a thermocliine or something else?

Over the summer it was higher in the water column, around 18-19' or so. Maybe the cooling water temps have pushed it lower as the lake gets ready for turn-over? This line was actually a little deeper out more in the center of the lake.

In other areas of the lake, I did see fish right at that line and even a little below it. I got a few light nibbles but didn't hook any to see what might have been holding so deep.

I would say thermocline because it's the same depth all the way across the history of the display...

The images in the link provided are probably suspended sediment (like those guys explained) because it's uneven across the display....
