Butterfly MoJo Alive in Florida

Well, the butterfly MoJo works here in Florida! I got to go out in the bay at Destin yesterday and fish with a good friend from Conway who recently moved down here. I had never done much saltwater fishing, a couple of charter trips is all, so we headed out early and fished hard all day with limited success. However, I was able to land this 27" redfish. My friend hooked and almost boated a couple of really large sea trout but lost them right at the boat. Everything else was small and not picture worthy, but it was a very enjoyable day on the water. Nice pictures, that butterfly has some good color in it. Them sea fish are fun sometimes to catch.

I like some salt water fishing. That's a good fish. Wish I was there.

That's one nice Red there Ski. Be careful that salt can be addictive.

Book you a trip on the Sweet Jody out of Destin. It is an inexpensive open group charter boat , well worth it. Looks like your having fun out there. Crappie bite is on and getting better here.:biggrin

Those reds can be a blast to catch, and not bad eating on the grill. Looks like you are having a good time!!

I sure hope you made it to Ole Bay Steamers in Ft Walton. MRS DP and I had to go twice on our trip to Destin last August.
