Nimrod, Lake and Friend
Well Ms. Karen and I met up with Nimrod yesterday morning for a little fishin and a little educatin....of the single pole method of fishing. I have a little experience with the technique and Ms. Karen virtually none. Nimrod patiently explained to us about 79 times what to do...and what to look for...the whole time trying to hold the boat on a stake bed or brush pile....the wind blowing somewhere between 10 to 49 miles an hour.....he kept complaining about that kink in the trolling motor cable....and the fact that my 6-6 tall 6 ft wide butt in the back seat created a "sail effect" when the wind blowed.
We learned a lot....caught 50 or so fish.....kept 20 or so keepers "10 or over" I slid a couple in while he wasn't looking....and had a great time on the water.....Understand the 50 could have been a 100 or so...but he would catch one or two and then sit and watch us and try to see we had every chance to catch them ourselves.....
CA you are truly a gentleman and I appreciate you taking your time to fish and visit with us.

Thanks , we made the best of a rough day and wish the wind would have cooperated. Today started out better but ended up rough. Got to visit with the Goose on the water as he launched when I did today. Come on back when the wind is not so bad.

By the way Paul that foot pedal is hard to turn on trolling motor when it takes all of my 200 lbs to turn it!:Rofl Unlike my Minnkota on my boat.White Flag Icon
