Tying with new paint
Just got 3 new colors yesterday. Tied up 1 just to see. The head is TJ's Ultimate Chrome as a base and Transparent Copper on top. The Chenille is GB's Black/Copper, the tail is Chartreuse Hackle & Black Hackle with Lime Green Pearl Krystal Flash

That's a great looking jig!

Pepop that is a sharp looking jig, nice work.
I tell you, with all the killer jigs I have seen on this board, the crappie don't stand a chance!
They may become an endangered species! White Flag Icon

Great looking tie Pepop!!! What are you using as a heat source for your powder coating?

Ridge, I use a little alcohol burner I got off eBay for $6. Quick, even heat & no smoke. A quart can of denatured alcohol lasts me about 10 months the way I use it.

I use the same thing, but paid a bit more from Barlow's, but have tried several others including a really nice stainless steel one, but it had the small wick and that flame is too small for me. I actually went back and bought another one from Barlow's when I had trouble with my first one. It lasted me a long time though, but have to be careful as to how tight you put the lid on.
Here is what mine looks like and I like it a lot even though nothing special.

Some link heat guns, but I can't stand the noise and I just don't like the idea at all. Love the alcohol clean burning.

Thanks for the information Gentlmen! I have been using my gas stove in the kitchen, however it is really a waste, think I will try one of those alcohol burners.
