Call me guilty, I try to ignore certain comments, but some get the best of me. There's a number of different marine electronic manufacturers out there. If you don't like one, buy another. I like different features of different products. I buy the one that closes fits my needs. You don't like the donut, buy another product. You don't like planned obsolescence, buy another product. You don't like buttons, buy a touch screen. A manufacturer did you wrong, get over it. Make my product X do what product Y does, get over it. :banghead

Rickie, don't give up. There are a few folks that can get over brand loyalty. I enjoy the discussions and I , like Shellback, like some features of all brands.

Keep posting, Rickie, and I will keep reading and posting a few pictures along the way.

Rickie keep posting! I personally ignore the people your talking about! I try to just sift through for the actual data. I haven't seen a perfect brand yet. They all have pieces that are superior in my mind!

None of the manufs are your best friend. They just want yo money. Their concerns ends at 4pm daily. Just facts, not cynicism.

now I'm getting depressed

Rickie I am not a hummingbird guy but I do read alot of your post and appreciate them. Dont let some get to ya just keep doing what you seem to enjoy, helping others understand and enjoy their investment. I have nothing bad to say about the Birds just prefer another, seems the regular sonar is clearer to me and is all I use. Each of us have needs and should buy the unit that fits our needs the best. The name on the unit really has nothing to do with whether it fits you or not.
