it's about time
Finaly, I am going fishing this Saturday. I haven't been fishing since the Spring. The job is not in the way, the wife is happy, my fall alergies are in check, etc. Man I am going. But, I don't know where yet.
I never have been on Nimrod. I ain't never even seen it. How about some help with where to put in, what are they hitting, depth, etc.
Thanks
DP

Nimrod has been slow , heard a few were starting to catch fish. I have been bass fishing and doing well on shallow stumps. Carden Point would be the place to launch. Be careful , lake is at low pool for winter. Stay in river between bouys to run. There are shallow stumps in mid lake around Andersons Branch. How do you plan on fishing? Spider rigs or jiggin ?

Hey DP:
They are biting well on Greeson and I'd be glad to line you up on some condos to fish if you want to drive over. I think it would be worth it. We're averaging around 30 keepers on a half-day trip.

I am not sure how I will be fishing. I have never actually spider rigged before. But, I have installed rod holders on my boat so I can. Normally I cast and slow retrieve jigs.

That sounds tempting. Did you ever get any offers for the OJT the other day? That sounds like fun too.
