NC Newbie Ready to Fish
Well, great to find this site! Finally got my old crappie boat ready. Put a pic on a thread on the NC part of the forum. We go to Kerr Lake a lot. Want to fish the Flat River that comes out of Lake Mickey and runs down into the Eno where the Neuse starts. Anyone know that area? I work off Old 75 highway at a prison there and could hit the river after work. Would love to learn more about Kerr Lake spots if anyone has some know how. Trying to get back into fresh water and especially Crappie fishing after getting tired of the offshore stuff. Too much work to go offshore!!! Thanks for the welcome. I love to smoke brisket in my big green egg and grow a garden. Just started chickens too. We camp a lot at Kerr Lake. Hope to see some of you up there. You might hear me in my redneck boat with the straight pipes. Love that 454 rumble but the wife says no fishing on her boat so you might see me in the putt putt. Look forward to meeting you.
