I only had 8 from 7-12. ATM had it tuffer with only 2. One of which he threw back before I told him he could have mine. Managed to send him home with 9 total so his day was not a total loss.

This is a tough time of the year. It seems that the shad don't know where they want to go. If you find them, you find the crappie. It's that way at Okatibbee anyway. Of course finding the crappie don't mean they're wanting to feed. We caught several today that were foul hooked. They were just slapping at the bait instead of trying to eat it.
Saw earlier where some of the duck dynasty guys were fishing Grenada today with jason from lakeway.
