Blown off the lake!

Went to Enid today. It started out nice!Launched at Wallace Cr.I ran down to Longbranch, lake slick as glass. Got set up! Caught 6. and then all hell broke loose.A few clouds, an ever increasing breeze. They turned into waves you could surf on in 30 minutes!As I was leaving, the lake patrol boat was launching prolly to get someone out of trouble!Gonna go back Sunday and try them again!Post pics tomorrow! Ended up putting into the Coldwater River but didn't do any good!Ranger told me that the helicopter had made 3 runs from below Butla up to the lake before they got them stopped.They weren't sure if any carp got in there or not!Sure hope not!!:hatchet:

Here's a few pics of the fish from Enid and Coldwater River. Got a cottonmouth hidin in the brush also. Caught a 5 lb. gar and 2 slimers! Gonna hit Enid again Sunday with Miss Marsha! Feelay I sure needed your boat this day!
