lake mattoon

Hi guys I'm planning on taking a trip next week to. Lake mattoon.just wondering what the best techniques for crappie on this lake and where I can get a Topo map thanks any help is appreciated.

Find brush in 8-12fow and fish either slip corks and minnows or jigs in th brush. Try to stay on the main lake. You will catch plenty. Caught around 200 Wednesday and cleaned 51

Exactly what Birdman said.... I have been doing better with minnows than jigs this summer. Good luck!!
