Speckanator: Great pictures, makes me home sick.:) I will be back there in Oct. after the Crappie Master Championship@Grenada. Looking forward to the slabfest/slabtogethers.:fish Did you fish any, there at the SR46 ramp on the St John. You said you were on Jessup, but you went around to the river on 46 didn't you. Anyway, I did real well there last year, just off the ramp to the left where that little creek mouth is. Have a good one, Later!!!!

:highfiveNice pics, I haven't been there in a few years. Last time I was there we had
gator tags & the water was low, level looks good now.
The 2 crosses maybe for those 2 fellars that drowned after they were ejected from their boat last year.
The turtle pic is really cool !

I put in on 46 cause I was afraid the Sanford Av ramp might be shallow. I checked it out and it was 2 1/2 to 3' through there so it's fine to launch. That came to mind about those crosses and you're probably right. I was raised on Jessup and didn't know there was any other lakes in Florida until I was a teenager but I hardly ever go back anymore. I'm plan on fishing it more this year. Soldier's creek area is always a fire bed when they start up. My opinion is that they aren't as big as some other lakes but then again I haven't been there in years. Same with Harney.....I hardly ever go there, but about 10 or 12 years ago that was a hot spot as well. Those were the biggest fish I've ever seen and then they seem to slow way down. Jessup is a great lake and offers a lot of ways to fish. Best place ever to catch shellies.

Jessup is definately a cool place, it has probably been 8-10 yrs since I fished it.
I have heard some noise at night out there that I couldn't explain.
-
That was Phantoms mating calls!! It is quite frequently heard after a sale on Bush's beans at Walmart. Imagine the real sound had you been closer to Titusville!

:Rofl where's he been lately, at the VFW summer rehab camp:dono

The picture of the flag is where Myers Fish Camp was when I was growing up. An old fashion boat renting, pole loaning fish camp! Several of the Myers family still live along that side of the lake. Brought back old memories.

Love the alligator snapper.

I think he is out enjoying his self, just fishing with friends. I don't think he will be back on Crappie.com. He is not a happy camper, with the forum. nuff said!!
