Hd 8/8/13

Spent about three hours out there in the light rain today. Saw one other boat, which was a nice change. Caught a bunch of dinks in some of the trees within the channel on the big bull, then headed to bridge on little bull to get out of the rain for awhile. Did ok under the bridge, but no size. Did a little better in the last 30 minutes on trees near the bridge. Couple of keepers, biggest was 12". Tried jigs and minnows and both worked equally well in the good trees. Crappie were no more than 8-10' feet down in 20-30' of water and definitely seemed to prefer wood over other cover.
