had to take the wife to an appt yesterday over in Germantown. Well as we were coming our turn off the Explorer died--lots of traffic. I got it started back up and had no other issues. Ran the codes this evening and it's leading me to a vaccum leak or bad sensor (fuel rail pressure sensor) What isn't fun about it is you have to take the intake and no telling what else off just to get the the dern thing--what a pain

That sounds like just to much fun Mike. Especially as hot as it is. Hope it's just a vacume leak.

childs play really just a pain to HAVE to do it. Got a bug up my but when I have my Bronco and decided to tear the engine down and rebuild it--did it over a weekend--but the only reason I did (I found the problem 4 years later) was because the check engine light and though I had a bad cam. I did find the issue which was a $20 relay--least I had a "new motor" that I knew what had been done to it:)Quote:
