Catfishing with Nimrod

I called up my buddy Nimble head for a quick day trip on my day off with my best fishing buddy. I had two goals in mind and that was to introduce her to cat fishing and to feed a family whose primary breadwinner got laid off work.

I worked off this morning and heade to the lake where we mey up with nimble. Had a good visit and launched the ol tub in the water. Wasnt long before we were anchored up and the water started to boil with fish. Neve seen anything like it other than when we went to the trout farms and saw em feed them fish. Learned a bunch and saw a bunch of fish farts. Yep them ol cat fish goto farting when they get in a frenzy lol. Watch for the gas bubbles and throw to em . They would grab the bait before it hit the bottom. We had a big time cautching and releasing a ton of fish. If your are lucky enough to get a trip with him, just hold on to the rods tight lol. The best trip for cat fish you will ever have guaranteed!! That is a mess of fish right there. Your Daughter looks like she was having fun and that bigun almost big as she is. Glad you guys had a good day JW.

It is always great to see a kid have'n a good time in the outdoors. Enjoyed today fish with you and your lil fishing buddy. She just might start noodling Catfish next .:Rofl

I like to see the kids catch a lot of fish when they go out so they don't get tired, but that would make them tired just reeling them in good mess of fish. Now the work begins. Thanks for the pictures
