Like the title says. I am trying to find a place to purchase some painted jig heads in various sizes to get me started tying. U live in the Tulsa area. If anyone knows of someone or someplace please let me know. I plan on buying the do-it. Mold in the future, but the wife wants me to make sure that I can do this with my hands before getting to financially in to it. Thanks in advance. Bobo

Thank you for the responses guys. Quick question. Dad had some unpainted jig heads in his tackle boxes when he passed away. I have painted a few of them today with testors model paint. My question is this. Do I need to put some kind of poly or clear coat on the testors paint to make it last? I plan on buying some painted heads on here also, I just could not wait to get started. Depends on if you used Arcylic or Enamle, and Enamle you have to let dry a couple days to really cure proper.
we use clear coat vinyl over our paint job either powder paint or vinyl paint but we always use a clearcoat it brings out the brightness of the jig.
You can go to Do-It Molds: Jig, sinker & lure molds for pouring your own lead fishing tackle or Barlows to pick out the mold/s you want when you feel like your ready.
Go to ebay and watch for that mold to come up. May save a few bucks that way.
