Signed the papers in early MAY and could have closed this past friday but we were told to wait and that the contract was a contingent contract. IF we'd have taken the contract to the loan officer a few weeks ago, we would have closed on it this past Friday. Sucks but it is what it is. OH WELL, more stress and me being a butthead for awhile longer I recon. Ain;t slept much the last 2 or 3 weeks and been grumpy as Satdoc.
Hire a realtor!!!!

I DID HAVE a realtor. Just some bad info from them and when to do things.
Sat, Greenheads been doing his job and has bent over backwards to help out. He's the first person who I've ever seen talk on 3 phones, type on his computer and still be able to leave Torch a nasty voice mail. LOL
Man that stinks. Remember it all happens for a reason, it'll work out the way it's supposed to. Best of luck to ya, don't pull the rest of your hair out over it!

you mean they sold it out from under you after you signed the contract? somethings not right
we gonna try it again but going a different route. Switching realtors and try it again. NO, didn't sell it out from under us. We were never told to take the contract to the bank to get the money in place. We were told it was a contingent contract and we had to wait. Last Tuesday we were told we HAD to close by friday but with the either 7 or 10 working days you have to wait from the time the contract is signed and you get it to the bank til you can close, it couldn't happen. Short sales are hurry up and wait, then BAM, we have to close ion a couple days. Either your ready or your not. Learned alot but learned it the hard way
