Ok gang, I have tried shooting thru the hull of my F&F boat with a ducer
and it wont work, I am gonna have to move it to the transom :( I had purchase a bracket that extends out from the transom for the high speed ducer but I havent tried it. I want to have depth reading at plane if possible and I dont want to have my SI ducer down that low. I can not remember the site I got the bracket from. My question is should I just use the bracket that came with the ducer or attempt to make the extended bracket work. Apparently the hull on the F&F is to thick and my ducer reads 1.6 ft all the time. I really hate to drill holes in my transom. I had purchase the transducer mounting board but when I attach it and pull the top of the board tight with the mounting screws, the bottom of the board is not flush, it sticks out about a 1/2 inch or so and I dont want to put holes in the bottom of the transom if I can get away from it. any suggestions ?
thanks
