Ok guys tomorrow morning I am going to try to pull some cranks at sardis. Where have been productive areas lately, and around how deep have you been running the cranks. Thanks so much for y'all's help!

Stay to the flats and out of the timber for now. Line out really depends on high your rod tips are. I haven't run more than 80 out all year, find something that's working and duplicate it. Good luck
Rees, how many times you been on Sardis last few weeks? Gewber
Stay to the middle of the lake, clear creek to tekville. Fish have been down around 15'-18'. Probably be 80-100 boats there tomorrow, they swarm like locusts when you catch a fish or two. That'll tell ya where to fish.
I try to follow the channel between #7 and #9 fishing 12-20' in 28fow.
I aint in the last few weeks but do know some fesh still being caught out of the timber breaks above Teckville, just suggested he stay out of the timber as a rookie. Hell I lost 10 baits up there a few weekends ago, didnt want him to loose all his baits.:biggrin
advice that is three weeks old may not be good advice at all... how bout yesterday... maybe...
Don't let ' em get you down , Rees guide. I appreciated your advice. It was spot on.
I have been catching them about anywhere I find 27-29 ft of water. From 75-140 ft back. Black ,black bubble him , mistake,Grenada shad, pink and it seems like about any color will work. Good luck.
You are right John. Stay out of the timber off of Holiday lodge/Teckville. I have been fishing it all of last week & this week. The fish are at 12' to 18' in 21' to 28' of water. Watch out for the trotlines in that area. Black bubblegum, mistake, awesome pink, black, pearl & when the sun get up high, chrome anything.
I say send all them boats East of Teckville!
