Super Glue?
Do you all use any super glue with your jigs? I had been putting some Loctite super glue on a jighead with my bobby garlands but it doesn't seem like the Loctite brand is holding very good for me. What brand do you all use or do most of you all not even use any?

I used to use Loctite Superglue Control Gel, to glue hollow tubes to the jighead ... but, once I went to using solid body baits, it wasn't needed. The solid body plastics just didn't seem to get pulled down on the hook as often as the hollow tubes.
I started with the tubes of regular Super Glue ... but their nozzles clogged up, or the glue solidified in the tube too quickly. I switched to the Gel in the grey bottle with blue side bars, and it seemed to stay liquid for much longer, didn't clog, and was much easier to apply just a dab than the squeeze tube version.
Just FYI:
This is the Gel -- The blue sidebars are squeezed to produce/control the flow of the glue ...

I've used it but found that it was more bother than it was worth; stopped up bottles, fingers stuck together, and all the mess. Now, if they could come up with a glue that the crappie's mouth would stick to when he bites, we would have something worthwhile. rotfl

I have never used it and don't find any need to.

the best I've found is sold by Bobcats, Pro's Soft-Bait Glue. It holds better than either Locktite or SuperGlue. altho I will keep a cheap tube of either in the boat for on the water repairs. the Soft-Bait Glue is kept in the fridge at home an used to glue up a days worth of jigs for each trip beforhand. it will harden quickly if kept in the boat. I've also found that jig heads with a tapered collar that have the barb pinched off work the best for any plastic. I go thru a couple thousand of these each yr.

I use super glue extensively. I get tired of having to push plastics (whether for crappie, perch, bass, etc.) back up the jig head. I've used about every brand and have experienced all the issues noted above. So long as I cap the glue right after using it, a tube will last me for about six months. No particular glue brand has proven better than any other.

Lol I don't even use barbed collars I just pull the plastic back up after each fish... The plastics hold longer I catch between 15-25 fish before I change. But if the doc says so I will give it a go.
But then again I use a lot of harder when I make my plastics
