filet knife

anyone know where to buy filet knives that are not stainless steel blades? Just old fashioned carbon steel

I've gotten some good knives at country butcher shops before. Once a knife has been sharpened too many times they retire them and you can pick them up cheap. That's me, CHEAP!

Got mine, very sharp. Can't wait to try it out. Guess what, the knife was packaged in bubble wrap and with the packing slip was a piece of candy. Nice thought, good response to my order request.

i,v found the 16" sthil is pretty easy on the wrist a little tricky on gills though

Mostly all I ever catch is the smaller 15 - 16 inch crappie in these central Ky lakes. Will the trimmers work on those smaller fish ?
