I love bordella/Iron Wood

I have fished them all and there is no doubt that Iron wood or bordella trees are the best there is. I am telling you all this because I dont want you young whipper snappers to take over 50 years to learn what it took me to learn. If you are setting attractors in less than 10 feet deep USE IRON WOOD!!!. It consistently out fishes all the others, last forever and you will quickly get over the snags. Trust me on this.

Now if any of you in Central ARk got some extra bordella tree branches cut up laying around you are not going to use Please give me a call or PM me... I will drive to your place and pick it up. Tight Lines...

You can have that hook hanging crap. I know it holds fish but small limbs grab lines too! I use Persimmon myself, less hang ups and fish love it. The trees have few small limbs and heavy wood takes little weight to hold ( will actually sink green , just need weight to hold in place).

Pffft... Iron wood will be still catching fish 5 years after your persimmon tree has long gone rotted away. I trim the limbs before I sink it to make it a fish catching magnet... snags are no problem for me with this wood. I'll leave the persimmon trees for the deer to feed on.

I don't think they are called bordello. Just Ironwood trees Also not to confuse with the Iron tree in the desert.
They are pretty common along water edges and you will know why they call them Ironwood trees when you lay the saw to them. They sure do hold fish and last a long time no matter what you call them,

Now I see some of them before

Gindog the Ironwood and Button Willow grow around alot of lakes. The Ironwood has small twisted branches that will grab lines causing lots of hang ups. Fish will use them but the live trees are rough to fish around.
