The Ram mount set up for a 998 HB is the D111 I believe, I think that

is what I have the mounted on in the front of the boat, I am wanting the ball mount so that I can move the unit around when I am pulling cranks and then be able to have it in the front between rod holders when I spider rig. Is the ball mount for the bottom of the mount a 2.25 size ? want to start looking for one but cant be sure of the size.

I ended up getting mine from gander mt. for $100 well worth it I unplug it and remove mine , don't want it walking off .
