I ain't real thrilled with fishin that hydrilla infested waterway
Welcome to my world then Torch, 1 1/2 hours to Nader, 1 hour to the Ten Tom & 1 1/2 hour to Barnett
That no drive...1hr to Butla ... 1.30 Sardis ...1.50 Enid...
2.10 Grenada & 2.15 to Pickwick ....their all worth the drive...
Go to Bluff Lake on the Noxubee Refuge. Huge crappie in there if you can find them.
They grow them big, big there for sure. It is probably the toughest lake you will ever fish this time of year though. On a good day in the spring most locals with lots of experience there can only scratch out 10-15 per day.
Dang I would never get to go fishin. I'm 16 min from Sardis, 18 min from Enid, 35 from butla, and 42 from Grenada. That's to the closest ramp though and I actually wished I lived a little closer!Quote:

My shortest drive is 125 miles to Butla, 145 to Sardis and then 165 to Enid. Shortest drive I have fished from the house in over 2 years is 55 miles. I'm used to it now but I don't have to like it:)Quote:
