Water spout in Grand Isle yesterday

This would have spooked me big time:

Wonder if it sucked up any trout and deposited them on land? That'd be the only way I could catch some.

Attachment 129301I had a buddy that was fishing just inside the pass when all that was going on.

Worked a couple summers there, when I was a teenager. My uncle had 9 rentals. Spent summers cleaning camps, cutting grass and getting very tanned on my Cajun skin. Had a ball! Saw 2 spouts while there. Had one coming straight for us and it broke loose a couple hundred yards off the beach. The cloud passed over us and the funnel dipped back into the bay after it passed.:help To say it was scary would be an understatement. Although I would have liked to see what Cajun Oz was like. :witching
