Very nice, how deep you fishing? Guess the next mess of fish i catch i'll have to lay the fish out on the hood of the wife's car :juggle
fished the edges of the sloughs 12 to 15 ft. of water 8 to 10 ft deep. I got educated by a guy that lives on the lake. We were both fishing the same slough but I choose to fish the deeper parts 16 to 18 ft water, he stayed out in the 12 to 14 ft. He quit at 9:30 with 23. I didn't have but 11 at that time. By the way I would leave the wife's car alonenonono:Rofl
Hard to beat that local knowledge. One of the locals schooled me below the spillway a couple months ago, wish i could remember that fellows name, he was a whiz at casting a jigQuote:

Allways talk up the locals. Bring some donuts and make some friends.
They will put you on the fish, and some will even watch you car while your on the water.
I've even had some give me baits to try.
