I 'm wondering if it's possible to switch views: within a view on the fish finder for the 998c si. For instance on the down / side combo view, where down is on the left and side image on the right , is it possible to flip them, thanks

It's not possible on the HB units to vary from the hard coded view layout...
It's on the HB wish list ....

The more requests they get .... The more likely they are to listen ....
