You might remember an earlier post by tripleripple who was down here on vacation from Mo. Turned out he's actually my B/L, roostertail's cousin in law(I think). Anyway he's kinda family. It seems tripleripple wanted to do some Florida fishing so I arranged for the both of them to meet me at Lake Monroe this morning @ 6:30. You'll see the the sun just peeking up.... from this picture. I took it while I was idling around at the ramp waiting for them.

Here they are 20+ minutes late but still plenty of time for fishing even thought it's full daylight by now. Now were under way to catch supper.

Even ran up on my old friends twospecks. They've been awol for a while....had some excuse about working hard etc. Anyway it was good to see them and jaw a while.

A great day and we're headed in. Just before I got to the no wake zone I looked to the rear for my family and they were no where to be seen. So I backtracked and found them bobbing in the middle of the river out of gas. The rest you can tell from the photo.

Couple of real goobers... and their wives are going to give the $%# when they get home. At least we caught plenty of fish for a fish fry tonight.
