I am looking forward to hearing your report on them we fished with them day before yesterday a little bass were picking on it but they were only about 3 inches long couldn't hook up to any crappie yet sooner or later they will deftly come into were we been fishing lots of big boulders in war right up against the dam deep water so I'm thinking they will come in there sooner or later we'll figure it out I will be leaving to go to Texas in July to pick out our home we are very excited about this at least I am let me know ship if you need any more and what colors would you like them. I'm sure that you won't like the little squid I bet you they will be a terror on everything that you are fishing for. your new shirt looks terrific.
I thought you just bought and moved into a new home Bob. Texas???? Heading out to Sardis in the morning .....the jig bite appears to be off as the crappie are scattered and suspended in open water.....but they are tearing up crankbaits so stay tuned. I will be doing some single pole fishing on a smaller lake later on this week and will try your soft plastics out there and see what the little squid will do.
Nice shirt Mike
G If ship was nice he would make a shirt and autograph it looking forward in hearing back from you on that little squid I will be going out in the morning also I'm going to have to go out and do some cheating maybe to get those fish to bite might have to put a little piece of warm crappie nipples don't seem to be doing the trick I think the fish are just not there but were going to run out and try those little squids in the morning again let you guys know what I did.
I am sending the shirt back. The crappie.com sleeve logo is supposed to be bigger. The sleeves are supposed to be black like Kevin Van Dam or Wally Marshall's shirts. That is not what I ordered. How can I ever hope to get a TV show of my own if I don't have the correct look? Sheeskalambooska....This shirt kept getting dirty and would get blood stains on the cuff. I guess that is why you do not see too many TV hosts in a white fishing jersey. I would think I will be more photogenic on the water in a black jersey like Kevin Van Dam or Wally Marshall.:Rofl :Rofl :Rofl

David, some people (Like Bob) have all the money where they can buy a new mansion every few months and take overseas trips every year.. Bob is one of them and I am not one of them. God has just blessed him that way. I know Bob and Skip will have many wonderful adventures in Texas. Those two fellows are at the top of their craft in making gizmos to catch those crappies.
Mike....nice shirt but it really dosent matter to the fish or the people watching those tv shows . I filleted 20 crappie this morning and did not get a drop of blood anywhere.....I was wearing a light gray C.C t-shirt lol
Went out to the Coosa River yesterday morning to field test the little Squid. We launched the boat at the landing about a mile from the dam on Lake Neely Henry on the Coosa River The dam was pulling current snad the water flow was really fast so I knew slip float presentations would not work, We anchored near one of the bridges for shade and began to test that little squid. Most times I sprayed it with YUM attractand and other times I used a crappie nibble on it. I fished the vertical presentation set up I use when fishing minnows and just substituted the plastic squid for the minnow. (See drawings) We fished about 8" off the bottom in about 10 feet of water.
The spotted bass and channel cats just kept knocking the slobberknocking beeheuzits out of that little squid. All in all we fished about two hours. Caught 15 spotted bass on the squid and four channel catfish. Most of the spotted bass were about 11-13 inch size and the channel cats were a bit larger. All in all I would have to say that the little squid will attract and trigger fish into biting.
