Going to Conway this afternoon ....wasting my time ?

Just wondering what some of you Lake Conway locals think ? I know the water all over is waaay high , but u think a guy could find a mess ? I single pole mostly . help?

I haven't heard of anybody catching any and haven't been fishing the lake much lately. If I was set on going to Conway though, I would focus my search around the hwy 89 bridge and the standing timber on the northeast side of the bridge. The water is deeper there and should have some fish there.

Probably going to give it a try for bream tomorrow too. Unfortunately I never feel like I catch as many as I did in my youth 20+ years ago.

Good luck , if you don't find them right away just keep moving to different areas of the lake fish are scattered but you should be able to find a few, persistents is the key!

Any time on a good fish lake like Conway is not wasted. If you don't catch any, you'll know where they ain't which may be not as fun, but is pretty important.
