Went out on the 5th and 6th of June. Caught a limit both days. Fished from about 10 to 2:30. Boat traffic wasn't too bad but boy I miss the winter fish'n!
These "Post Spawn" White crappie are so thin you can read a Newspaper thru'um. The Blacks seem to have recovered a little better and have a little more meat on'um.
They were on the ledges in 13' to 18' fish'n 10 to 15' respectively. Mostly fished deeper stuff on the 6th and caught better fish.
Cheer up, sour puss. You done good.
I get to one-up you today. I've got a basket full of newborn lab puppies that have kept me sleeping in my office floor for 4 days.
Don't post pics of those pups or my wife will be hounding me! Our ancient Airedale terrier is on her last summer for sure and wifey is baby shopping! And a Lab is top of the list. :bangheadQuote:
