I'm looking to replace my dual seat mount. I need something that will fit a Springfield 2 3/8" plug in socket. I currently have a 36" pivoting seat mount from Cumberland Crappie that doesn't suit my needs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I also had a Springfield mount, I believe it may have been 2 3/8. Anyhow, I had Cumberland Crappie make me his standard seat and then purchased a Springfield mount adapter. Look up the Springfield website and look for the "adapter". It adapts to a 3/4 in pin. Worked for me, might save you a lot of $. Wish you the best.
I don't think I'll go back to Cumberland Crappie due to the workmanship on what I have.
Wayne at Blackland Lures....good guy.... builds Dub-l-Seat. Built strong. Made like a tank. He can modify to fit your boat socket and paint to match your boat. Also he can customize the arms to the length you want for your boat. I have one on my old, narrow front end ranger that is 37 yrs old. I think he is a crappie.com sponsor. You can PM him using his call name on this site.... Blacklandlure. His email is [email protected]. He is in Boonevile MS and will offer you a fishing trip if you ever get down his way, lol.

Just got the E.Z.T pole perch this spring and like it real well so far. You cant beat the price either.
I believe you and I have the same dual seat mount from Cumberland, just curious to what problems you have had with it? I have to say mine is holding up fine.

If you recall when we received these we had a tournament that weekend. When I installed it I spent about 3 hours filing and sanding the center pin so it would fit into the seat base I then spent another couple hours filing and sanding the seat mount so I could insert my power pedestal into the seat base. Whenever I remove the dual seat mount so I can go back to a single seat it takes a couple hours. I have to place my power pedestal in a vice and beat the seat base off with a dead blow mallet, then I bolt a piece of unistrut to the center pin and pry it out. The center pin has my seat base fouled up and I had to remove it last night so I could get the pedestal out for reinstallation of the double seat mount for this weekend. I probably should have sent the whole thing back to Terry, but with the tournaments we were having I didn't want to be without the dual front seat, my mistake. Anyway I'm fed up with it and am looking to replace it along with a new pedestal base. The rod holders from Terry are fine but I would never recommend him for a dual seat mount. Anyway I'll be looking at different setups and decide what I'm going to change to this winter.
How to you like the EZ T. dual seat mount, is it sturdy while your sitting and moving around?
