Guys, my dad and I are going to go in the morning and try to fish through the storms if we can. We are planning to hit Shirey Bay again. Anybody have a report on it? Did the storms muddy it up bad?
Anywhere else in NE worth checking out tomorrow?

an additional question: when fishing on a day like tomorrow between some pretty drastic weather fronts and storms how do you change your approach? We are vertical jig fisherman and will be jigging what we can see tomorrow (Cypress trees and laydowns). Should we downsize, fish slower, deeper, shallower?
Some of you pros give a LOSER a chance tomorrow morning. How should we fish in light of the dramatic and daily storm systems blowing through the past couple of days and tomorrow?
Lastly, anybody seen Shirey today? Is it really muddy from storms?
Looking at the weather, the tops right across from the boat ramp, and the one right there at the ramp would be a good place to fish, that way you can get out of there quick when the lightning starts popping. Was talking to a fella that caught a bunch of em Tuesday, but they were small, very small. He said the water looked good, but we got two inches of rain last night, so...
The color looks good in all the oxbows even portia
Can't help with any info but hope you guys have a good day!
Any report?
Yes, we had a good trip. Put 10 in live well in 1.5 hrs before we felt like we needed to take cover. I've never fished in such heavy rain. My boat was dangerously full of water when we got back to the launch. I think if I'm going to fish in rain a bilge pump is in order. I took a couple pics that ill post later.
Sorry, these aren't the best pics but I snapped this quick before getting busted cleaning fish inside. Wife not happy about that. Also not happy about the fishy smell in the garage from the boat drying out Sat. Caught these in 5-8 fow about 4 ft deep. Red/Chart w specks and Smoke w specks was the hottest two jigs. wt 75. The ramp and a couple spots on the bank were like waterfalls muddying the bay up bad and bringing tons of trash w it.
