Not yet but it wont long.
It's fun chasing those buggers down, but in the end you're just left with slimy clothes and boat.
Loved 'em 3 days a week growing up, that was plenty. I can be more particular as I've aged and can afford to be. Dad always made me dress every fish we caught and I hated skinning cats with those worn dime store pliers. Momma's spoon and butcher knife was always preferable to me. Dad could always find a mess of cats without a boat....and he found lots! Slept many a summer night on the wingwalls in an early 70's LTD station wagon, while tightlining liver, worms, shad and the such.
I'll jug for crappie but be close if a cat gets on one of them or it goes back.
Good little story Feelay. My dad was about he same,he never feelayed a fish in his life. And never really owned a fishing boat, most fish were caught from the bank. One of my best menories was daddy coming home with fried livers and tater logs saying ''come on boy let's go fishing''.I was young then, i'm guessing my momma was working night so livers and tater logs was dinner.Good times
