Fished Keystone Fri afternoon and Sat. Lots of boats and water maggots on the water-but not too bad. Caught at least 50 and kept 7 crappie and one sand bass. Most came from under the 51 bridge, west end. DOW 22' and they were 12-16 ft down. (Of course, all but 2 came on med shiners) :) Good news is we caught at least 25 stripers 6" long! Hope that means in a couple years we sill have some decent striper fishing again.
Boat motor is repaired and running good--thankful for that.
Glad to see you catching fish and giving jigs some opportunity to produce! After you crushed me so thoroughly at my own game last winter I thought you might never buy another minnow.
Ciller, you are funny! I don't think my "luck" qualifies maybe as a crush--I was kinda like the old sayin "A blind hog finds an acorn...." I haven't caught anything like those on jigs since. It's been a tough spring for me. :( You must be my good luck talisman. :)Quote:
