This jig was inspired by an old beatle spin I used to buy. The jig part of the spin was a pearle white jig head with a 3 inch white twister tail. and the spin part was gold with a prism sticker on the blade. With this combo I caught everything, Large mouth bass, crappie, walleyes, and Northern Pike. So with this jig I hope to reproduce that spin and kill the crappies.
Have you thought of tying this pattern with a spinner that will turn below the jig?? (Belly spin)

It's working. And is a fine jig. I've caught more fish on on all white jig lately than on anything else. Your jig is tied perfectly to me and I guarantee it'll be a catcher if fish wanna eat. I particularly like the overall size of it more than anything. Less is more where I'm from.
Don't get discouraged by a lack of comments. Sometimes it's just easier to look and some won't drop a response. OR it'll be something to the effect of "looks good for Ur first jigs". Truth is, if you've caught on that pattern bf AND it holds up when you do catch, you're in the money. Don't sweat your work if they work.
Doug has a point though, from your past description of what has worked, belly spins would be a good idea.

I think it is a awesome tied jig. I know we all use white jigs at times but white gets over looked these days because there are so many different colors now to tie with. The basic one color jigs still work very well :ThumbsUp
Jigs do work well on a mid size spinner frame FYI. The beatle spins have caught countless fish and are still putting fish in the boats. :)
Looks good and should put some crappie in your box.
