Another day on Reelfoot...

Any day on Reelfoot is a good one to me. A person can usually catch a few fish, but you sure get to enjoy some beautiful scenery.

I've always lived in the flat lands where the cypress tree is king. This lake is full of them. Always an eagle or some other bird of prey flyin around. This morning saw 15 honkers come flying in from feeding.
I spent my time searching for bream. Culled some good ones out for the frying pan along with a couple of crappie and a 2.5 lb cat

LOL You don't mess around Overcup one day and Reelfoot the next. I would love to fish that Lake One day. I can remember all the Bill Dance shows he made on it. Great Job Kent. I look forward to fishing with you again at Dardanelle next week. Man that should be an exciting tourney to be apart of. I sure hope we get some C.comers to come support the CACA and have some fun, fellowship, and fish. I cant think of a better way to spend 30 bucks...to be apart of a good tourney, good Folks and LOL after Weigh Ins im going right back out and fish one of the Best Dern crappie lakes in the entire Country. Lake Dardanelle.

Russ, I'm with you! I hope we have a big turnout for Dardanelle. It will be a lot of fun. And I can promise you if the wife and I don't have 40 fish when we get to the weigh in, I will go back and fish till dark. That is a great lake to fish. Definitely one of if not the best I've ever fished.

I gotta admit when I saw you troll by that pump house I thought uh oh and sure enough a second later you found that trot line. I almost felt bad for laughing but I got over it! :)
