Thought I had it.

But I was wrong. Again. Got some waypoints for Milford. Tried to put them in and got an error message on the longitude entry. Figured the must have been in decimal format. So I converted them using an FCC website. Now I can enter them but half or more are on dry ground. Kinda tough to fish there. I could probably bring home just as many fish but its a little hard on the boat. Here is a sample-N 39.1235 W096.8884 when I convert it I get N3907245994 W096531824. This seems to put me on dry ground. I hope this isn't anyone's honey hole but given my source I think these are pretty well known spots. I know it's asking alot but if anyone can tell me what I am doing wrong it would be greatly appreciated.

I use this site to convert Waypoint Format Conversion Calculator and get your way point of N 39.1235 W096.8884 to convert to this N39 7.41 W96 53.304 and by entering that into the free Easy GPS program I get it to show that way point here Waypoint Viewer

From EasyGPS and highlighting the waypoint in you can view on line where that way point shows up. It shows a location on the water here. Good luck.

KAG, yesterday I saw about 3 or 4 boats on JD1's waypoint, but I turned up in the cove where the marina is. 4 boats in that little cove too! Never made it down that far to Jimmy Hoffa.

Thanks for helpin a brother out Ragnar. I already posted my list in post #1 Make syre to use LBM's coord's though, mine will put ya in the dirt.

i dont want to convert them, just want the real numbers that the gps accepts.
