Past 2 weeks

The past 2 weeks been trying to catch flounder with slow results seems like winds want to go against the tide when I can go or like last week a thunderstorm got us, only a few flounder each time. The crappie fishing has still been good though , I finally got my wife to go in the jon boat (she would only go out in my center console ) last sat. afternoon she went crappie fishing for the 1st time and got real black little male rite away . We fished from 3 30 to 6 30 and got 35 crappie on the clicker plus 2 yellow perch and 1 big ole red ear. We kept 14 crappie to eat pink and chart. triple tail was best 0n 1 /32 plain lead jig. water temp. 73 males were still black and females still had roe.Attachment 125980Attachment 125981

Very odd to see them dressed like that so late in the spring..

I know I was shocked they still had roe in em surface temp. was 73 maybe colder underneath from the cool spring we ve had is holding em up .
