Got an etec that continues to have an overheating problem. Take it back to the dealer and they find a code for it but cannot figure out what does it. Tell me it's ok and 300 yards down the lake it quits and goes onto the slow mode or stops. Will not restart. Been in shop 7-8 times in 54 hours of running or so. Dealer tries to do something but to no avail. sux!!!
GS I'd be on the phone to Factory Reps on this one. I would have thought your shop would of already made that call.
gomer snerd may be able to help. he's had a heap of problems with his etec too.
blow it before the warranty runs out problem solved ounces and for all
