One of my 858's did that. I shut it down and rebooted. Did you recently update software....mine did it after I did. I think I pulled the sd cards out (1 a Lakemaster and 1 blank card) when I rebooted.
What software version are you running...??
There have several reports of this on the forums with the new software...
Seems it takes longer for the unit to completely boot up...and pressing "Exit" before it is done booting up causes some problem in the system...
Although we are hopeful HB is looking into this...for now the best "workaround" is to wait 45-60 seconds before pressing "Exit"...
I think some are even suggesting waiting up to 90 seconds...

I would wait 90 seconds just to be sure.
Yes, it is being looked into.
I am using the stock version of the software... I couldn't tell you guys off the top of my head what version it is... It doesn't give me a problem when I wait a few before getting out of the start up screens
2 ways to get to the "System Status" screen to verify your software version....
*power on the unit....when it gets to the welcome screen, press "Menu"...of the 3 choices listed - choose "System Status"...
Or
*after the unit is powered up....go into the main menu under the "Views" tab ....scroll down to "System Status" and make this page "Visable"...

I checked today and I'm using version 6.49.... Was there anyone having pc connect problems or any other problems with this software version? If not i really don't see why it would be beneficial to upgrade to the newest software
Reports for 6.490 have been favorable...but I still would allow the unit to "think" for a time period before hitting the "Exit" button....
Go into your HB account and click on your unit model number....the first popup will be a description of the update....
If there is nothing in the description that you actually need...there's no definitive reason to update at this time...
