Fix a rod eye

Got.one of the inserts that came out on the last eye on one of my poles. Can it be fixed or do I need a new tip?

Easy fix if you have the insert. Take a small file and open the backside of the ring up just a bit. Snap the insert back in and run a little super glue around it.
