Three citations at Diascund
Doodlum & I hit DR today--hoping to pick up where we left off last week.

The weather wasn't perfect. Rain off & on throughout the day became steady rain by late afternoon.

Winds weren't bad, however, and the WT was mid-60s and above.
Pete landed the first citation (a 12.5" YP) and the third (a 15.5"crappie).

In between, I got this 40-incher into the boat.

Overall, the bite was strong but size was on the small side. By the time the game was called on account of rain, my clicker stood at 116, and Pete landed at least an equal number. Keeper-size fish weren't as plentiful as last week. I might have had 15 - 20 that would go 10".
We stuck to the deep water, but any technique we tried worked. Pete spent most of the day longlining. I floated corks (minnows on bare hooks, minnows on jigs, and plain jigs) and vertical-jigged.
