It felt good catching the first big one of the year
Took 2 hours, but I landed my first big crappie of the year. 12" black crappie male, in his tuxedo no less. From the base lake, the bite was very slow. Got him on a slip bobber with a minnow. Really didn't know he was on there until i saw the bobber moving gradually across the water. I have the day off tomorrow, so I'll see if i can land a few more before the weather turns for the worst...
